Generation 812 refers to John 8:12, where Jesus tells us that He is the light of the world.  Those who follow Him will have the light of life.  Our goal is to produce a Generation of teens who feel free to “connect” with others and with Christ, through our weekly meetings.  Once teens have made this connection, we want to help them to “grow” in Christ by showing them how the Word of God is relevant and applicable for their lives.  Then, we help to move them into the next level, and that is to “serve,”  which is exactly what Christ did in His life.


 

 


Meeting times: 

Sunday 10am (Junior High and High School)

Awana, Sunday 6:00pm

Wednesday Youth Group at 7:00pm

 

Upcoming Activities:

Nov. 15, 5:00pm- Progressive Dinner (meet at church)  We will enjoy a four course meal, but each course will be at a different home.

Nov. 16, 10:00am- All-Out, everyone attends Sunday School.  We are also requesting that those who can come to second service and sit as a youth group will do so.

Nov. 19, 6:30pm- 2nd Annual Frozen Turkey Bowl- lots of games and fun with frozen turkeys- loads of fun.

Dec. 12- Class Christmas Party-  We will attend “Journey to Bethlehem” in St. Charles, then come back to the church for our party.
