How does our mission “Uniting cultures and generations with the hope and love of Jesus” relate to the great commission found in Matthew 28:19-20?

1. Have you ever wanted to escape a season of life or a current situation you find yourself in? Why did you feel this way? What did you do to change—or if you currently find yourself in a situation like that, what might you do to change?

2. Read Hebrews 3:13. Do you have someone to hold you accountable to your spiritual standards besides your spouse (if married) or your immediate family? If so, how has that helped in your fight to honor God? If not, who might be someone you could ask? Ask them this week.

3. Our relationship with God can hinge on a lot of different things. How can we form a relationship with God that doesn’t hinge off of other areas of our lives? Why is it sometimes hard to do that?

4. Read Ecclesiastes 5:18, Philippians 4:11–13, and Matthew 6:34. What do these verses tell us about enjoying and living in the present? Do you find it hard to be present in your daily life or enjoy the moment? How can you fight to be present in each and every moment?

5. How do you live your faith out Monday-Saturday? Is there an area of your Monday-Saturday life that needs to be more grounded in your faith? Why is that, and what will you do to address it?

BONUS: Develop a few accountability questions that do more than inquire about superficialities.

Break into groups of 3-5. Ask what is going well, what is a struggle, and who are you sharing Jesus with? Pray for these things with each other.
